In creating a website, a designer is tempted to view usability as the "enemy of design." For me, design is a tool used to bring clarity to the user's experience. My name is Dan Gullerud, and I am a designer and producer of web experiences.
PHILOSOPHY ON WEB DEVELOPMENT
Bandwidth efficiency, flexibility, and accessibility are just a few reasons why I am a firm advocate of web standards. Over the past few years, I have embraced the benefits of the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which has allowed me to take pride in my clean, semantic, hand-written XHTML code.
